About Laurie’s Leashes

Hello there! My name is Jessica and I am the face behind Laurie's Leashes. I have been around animals my entire life and was raised with the mindset that pets are a member of the family (our fur babies). That they need the same love, care, attention. and patience that any human would need. A little about me: I have an educational background in criminal justice and a working background in human resources. I also worked at an animal hospital for a time. It was there that my love and passion for animals flourished. I began my pet service journey on the standard apps to make some extra money, but it quickly became my passion. I knew then and there that I wanted to spend my days caring for animals. It is my personal mission to make a connection with each and every animal under my care. I want to be someone that your pet is able to find comfort in and you are able to trust. That way you can rest easy knowing that they are being well taken care of while you're away.
