Users must provide accurate and up-to-date information when registering on our platform or applying to be listed in our directory.

2.2 Compliance

Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using our platform and services.

2.3 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Non-Profit Status and Financial Transparency

3.1 Non-Profit Operations

House My Pet operates as a non-profit organization, reinvesting any surplus into programs that advance animal welfare, including creating safe spaces for pets, supporting shelters, and improving pet care standards.

3.2 Use of Donations

Donations support our mission and help us maintain and enhance our website. All donations are used transparently and in line with our mission to advance animal welfare. We are committed to financial transparency and adherence to non-profit regulations.

4. Verification of Pet Business Listings

4.1 Application Requirements

Pet business owners applying to be listed in our directory must provide accurate and up-to-date information and comply with our application process.

4.2 Identification (ID) Requirement

To ensure the legitimacy and professionalism of businesses listed in our directory, House My Pet requires pet business owners to provide valid identification documents during the application process. This step is crucial to verify the identity and authenticity of the business owners applying to be listed.

4.3 Verification Process

House My Pet will request identification documents or other relevant information during the application process. This information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

4.4 Approval and Listing

  • 4.4.1 Once the verification process is complete, House My Pet will review the information and documents provided. We will either approve or deny the application for listing in our directory.
  • 4.4.2 Applicants will be notified of the decision via email. Approved businesses will receive a confirmation email with details on managing their listing.
  • 4.4.3 Denied applications will be informed of the reasons and may be invited to address any issues or provide additional information for reconsideration.
  • 4.4.4 Providing false or incomplete information may result in application rejection or removal from the directory.

4.5 Ongoing Verification

  • 4.5.1 House My Pet may periodically review and update listings to ensure compliance with our standards.
  • 4.5.2 We may request updated documents or information from listed businesses to confirm their continued eligibility.

5. User Content

5.1 Ownership

  • 5.1.1 You retain ownership of any content you submit to House My Pet.
  • 5.1.2 By submitting content, you grant House My Pet a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content on our platform and for marketing purposes.
  • 5.1.3 This license includes the right to adapt, modify, and create derivative works from your content for promotional and operational purposes.

5.2 Prohibited Content

  • 5.2.1 Users must not submit content that is:
    • Illegal: Violates any laws or regulations.
    • Harmful: Causes potential harm or distress.
    • Defamatory: False and damaging to reputations.
    • Infringing: Violates intellectual property or privacy rights.
    • Misleading: Falsely represents endorsements or affiliations.
  • 5.2.2 House My Pet may remove content that does not meet these standards or violates our terms. Users can report such content for review.

6. Donations

6.1 Voluntary Contributions

Donations to House My Pet are voluntary and support our mission to enhance animal welfare and maintain our website.

6.2 Use of Donations

Donations fund initiatives such as creating safe spaces for abandoned pets, supporting adoption programs, and raising awareness about responsible pet ownership. They also help cover operational costs, including website maintenance. All funds are used transparently in accordance with our mission.

6.3 Refund Policy

Donations are non-refundable, except in cases of fraud or error, which must be reported within 14 days of the transaction.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

7.1 Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. Our use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms and Conditions.

8. Trustees and Founders

8.1 Trustee Responsibilities

Trustees are responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and financial management of House My Pet. They must act in the best interest of the Charity and comply with its governing document and applicable laws.

8.2 Founder’s Role

The Founder, Sheena Evolution, holds a special role in the organization. The Founder has the authority to make final decisions on significant matters and ensures the Charity’s mission is upheld. The Founder’s authority is outlined in the governing document and internal regulations.

8.3 Trustee Appointment and Removal

Trustees are appointed by a majority vote of the Board and may be removed by a two-thirds majority. The Founder’s position and authority are distinct and not subject to the same removal process as Trustees.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, House My Pet shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our platform, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9.2 User Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for their use of the website and for any content they submit. House My Pet disclaims all responsibility for any harm or damage resulting from user-generated content or interactions on our platform.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to our services if you violate these T&Cs or engage in activities that harm the platform or its users.

Community Board Terms & Conditions




1. Overview

The House My Pet Community Board is a feature that allows pet owners, pet businesses, and organizations to create job postings, adopt or foster pets, and recruit staff. While the board is visible to the public, only registered pet owners and pet businesses can post, apply, or interact with listings.

2. Job Postings

  • For Pet Owners: Pet owners can post job requests to find pet services such as sitters, walkers, groomers, trainers, etc. These posts are visible to the public but only available to registered pet businesses to apply for.
  • For Pet Businesses: Pet businesses can post job openings to recruit staff. These listings are reviewed and approved by House My Pet before being published. Pet businesses must log in to their registered account to post jobs or respond to pet owner job requests.

3. Adoption and Fostering

  • Pet Adoption/Fostering Posts: Organizations and individuals offering pets for adoption or fostering can post listings on the Community Board. The posts must include detailed and accurate information about the pet, including name, age, breed, temperament, and health.
  • Application Process: Individuals interested in adopting or fostering a pet must fill out an application form. All applications are visible only to the pet’s current owner or the organization, and they will review the application before moving forward.
  • Approval: All adoption and fostering posts will be approved by House My Pet. We emphasize responsible pet ownership and aim to ensure the well-being of pets in the adoption and fostering process.

4. Recruitment for Pet Businesses

  • Recruitment Listings: Pet businesses seeking to hire new staff for positions such as pet sitters, groomers, and dog walkers can post job openings. These listings will be visible to the public but only available for registered job seekers to apply to.
  • Hiring Process: Pet businesses are responsible for ensuring that their recruitment process is lawful, fair, and non-discriminatory. They must provide clear job descriptions, responsibilities, and any relevant compensation details.

5. General Use of the Community Board

  • Visibility: While the Community Board is visible to the public, only registered pet owners and pet businesses can post, respond to, or apply for jobs, adoptions, or fostering requests. Visitors can browse listings but cannot interact with them unless they create an account and log in.
  • Responsibility: Users are expected to ensure their posts and interactions are respectful, accurate, and appropriate. Any offensive or inappropriate content may result in the suspension of the user's account.
  • Communication: All interactions, including applications and responses, must be conducted through the platform’s messaging system to maintain security and professionalism.

6. Liability

  • House My Pet’s Role: House My Pet is a facilitator for connections between pet owners, pet businesses, and those involved in pet adoption and fostering. We do not mediate or oversee transactions, hiring, or adoption agreements.
  • User Responsiblity: Users are responsible for the content they post and for verifying the details of any job requests, pet adoption posts, or recruitment listings. House My Pet encourages users to take appropriate actions to verify information before making decisions.

7. Data Privacy

Personal data collected through job applications, pet adoption, or fostering requests will be processed in line with our privacy policy. We are committed to keeping your data secure and confidential.

8. Dispute Resolution

In case of disputes regarding job posts, pet adoptions, or fostering agreements, House My Pet encourages users to resolve matters directly. If necessary, users may contact House My Pet support, who will investigate any issues and take appropriate action.
