Hi, I'm Josie, and I run Ghibli Pet Services. I've spent ten years working hands-on with dogs — handling all kinds of temperaments and reactivity — before bringing that into grooming, and somewhere along the way I ended up specialising in the nervous, shy and reactive ones. If you've got one of these, you'll know exactly how stressful it can be leaving them with someone new, especially somewhere unfamiliar with strange smells and other dogs about. So instead, I come to you. Your dog gets groomed at home, in a space they already feel comfortable in, with no waiting room, no other dogs setting them off, and no rushing them along. It's just the two of us, and I take as long as they need. I spend a lot of time reading how a dog's actually feeling rather than just pushing through a groom, and staying calm myself so they can too. If your dog gets worked up in the car, hates being dropped off somewhere, or has just never coped well with being groomed, I'd love to show you a different way of doing it.
